Bút Kiểm Tra Nhiệt Độ, Độ Sạch Tinh Khiết TDS Của Nước Bút thử nước hay còn gọi là bút thử TDS (Total Dissolved solid - Tổng chất rắn hòa tan) dùng để kiểm tra độ tinh khiết của nước làm cơ sở ban đầu để xác định mức độ sạch của nguồn nước. Từ đó giúp cho người sử dụng biết được chất lượng nước mình đang dùng một cách cơ bản. Với bút thử nước, người dùng có thể kiểm tra nồng độ chất rắn hòa tan, mức độ thẩm thấu, tầm ảnh hưởng của nguồn nước tới sức khỏe. Chị Thái Thành Hà, nhân viên tư vấn của cửa hàng chuyên bán máy lọc nước ở TP HCM cho biết khi thử nước, người dùng nhấn nút on/off một lần trước khi cắm bút vào cốc nước thử. Sau đó, nhúng đầu bút thử vào cốc nước, chú ý không cắm quá 5 cm. Chờ 1 phút để bút tự động cập nhật thông số của nước được hiện trên màn hình LED của bút. Sau khoảng 5 phút bút sẽ tự động tắt nguồn. Để đảm bảo độ bền cho bút, nên lau khô sau khi dùng và cất giữ ở nơi thoáng mát. Không sử dụng bút thử để kiểm tra khi nước còn nóng. TDS bao gồm khoáng chất, muối hoặc kim loại tồn tại trong một khối lượng nước nhất định, thường được biểu thị bằng hàm số mi/L hoặc ppm. Khi đo, nếu chỉ số TDS càng nhỏ thì nước càng sạch. TDS không được vượt quá 500 ppm đối với nước tinh khiết và vượt quá 1.000 ppm đối với nước sinh hoạt. Ngoài ra bút còn có chức năng kiểm tra nhiệt độ nước. Cách đọc thông số trên bút thử: 0-50 ppm: độ tinh khiết cao. 50-100 ppm: độ tinh khiết cao tương đối. 100-300 ppm: độ tinh khiết thấp. 300-600 ppm: có khả năng đóng cặn. 600-1.000 ppm: mùi vị không tốt. Trên 1.000 ppm: không uống được. Theo kỹ sư hóa học Nguyễn Thanh Nhàn, bút thử nước TDS là một thiết bị kiểm tra các chất rắn hòa tan có trong nước nhưng không thể hiện được chất lượng nước này thế nào, có độc hay không.
